Hi, my name is Mariah Flores. I began playing softball at the age of 3 years old and I’ve been in love with the game ever since. I am a respectful, coachable, and resilient person. I train every day to increase my softball IQ through healthy living, mental scenarios, film, hitting, fielding, pitch calling, catching and weightlifting. I am seeking a college that aligns with my values where I am able to continue my educational growth and be a valuable team member to their softball program.  

When I am not playing softball, I enjoy participating in other sports such as cross country, volleyball, and pickleball. Spending time with my family and friends is a must! Additionally, I love volunteering as a mentor to young kids. Softball is not just a sport to me; It is a way of life. It shows me how to develop my situational leadership skills, it teaches me how to trust in others, the openness to face challenges, and the willingness to learn new skills that can improve my performance on the field and in life.
